Love notes to Canada

To be honest I never thought about Canada to be on my bucket list. One day my friend just came over and ask, if I want to join for 3 weeks trip in Canada. Yeah, sure. So what is so special about Canada, that I ended up with tattooed maple leave on my leg? (Yes, it's #truestory)

World's friendliest country
It's quite shocking, but legends about kindness of Canadians are legitimate. If you are standing on the street looking lost or little bit sad after approximately 5 seconds, someone will ask you, if they can help you (event when they are on the phone in the moment). Most common question after how are you is is everyone nice to you in Canada? Waiting time for the car stop during hitchhiking is maximum 20 minutes. Canadians will give you a ride not because they are fan of hitchhiking, but more that you have to be safe, because there are lots of freaks you know 😂  They will give you anything what you want - place to sleep, books, food, drinks, even weed if you need it.

Do you need space? Go to Canada

Everything in Canada is bigger especially long distances how to get from point A to point B. When you go to nature, it can happen that you will get the awesome idea: "Let's go around the lake. There is two hours left till dinner. Please never ever do that. Specifically when you don't have food, water and even phone. You can be in the wild life lost for whole day eaten not by bears but mosquitoes. Truth to be told, when you see footmark of bear, it will not put you in better mood. But thanks to most friendliest people in Canada, if you find a car, you're all rescue. Yes, they will drive you home for
sure.

Countless possibilities what to do
If you go one of the big city in Canada, you will be hit with endless possibilities what to do during summer season. Do you want to go to the music festival? Sure, there like 50 festivals going on during summer. Do you want to dance on the drumm season with thousands of hippies? Come to the park on Sunday. Are you into art? Oh men, yeah, I think you will see. Just try to choose something 👀

Buying weed in stylish places run by government
If you see big queue you are in right place. Lately Canada allowed to smoke weed in public and you can buy it now directly from the government. Even if you are not into weed (like me) you should give it try, because even the shopping part is most hilarious experience. You are waiting in the queue with bunch of weirdos and then you come inside. Sometimes they check your ID or passport. Then the most handsome shop assistants will ask you: "Do you want be more relax or party after it?" So weird 😅 Then you are hiding someone before you just realise again that you can smoke weed wherever you want.

Have you ever been in Canada? Do you have also any interesting stories to share? Write me in the comment.
