What does freedom mean to you?

Today Czech Republic celebrates 30 years of freedom. It keeps me wonder what freedom presents and what we can do to achieve others freedom.

My parents were so courageous that they run away as refugees from socialist Czechia to Germany. That’s one of many reasons there always be my heroes, because they risked their own life for freedom. Also I will be always thankful that completely strangers in Germany open door and welcomed them in their family and we are friends since then. 


Today I can write this story, I can have my own studio, I can my opinion on equality for women and men and I can fly to Whitehorse and I can go to Yukon river. In that day we should be grateful for these 30 years of freedom. If we say these days that we have to do it something, 100% of that it's just our decision to "have to do it". We are in complete control of our life, achievement and happiness. I know sometimes it's scary, but what more you can ask for. 

Also with this article I would like to remind that we should more think about others who are not so lucky. We think that refugees is these days equal to Syrian people, but next time it can be you, who will have to escape from home. That’s why we should at least try and help others in needs, because we are the lucky one today.
